Our independence allows us to be there for our family
As a veteran who's military occupation and age, doesn't have the ability to transfer over to civilian life, finding a new career in your 50s is difficult if not impossible. Add to that the difference in work culture from military life, employment can be a struggle. That's why Lyft and other app driver and delivery services are so important. It allows us to earn what we need. It allows us to maintain the culture we respect. We get to see what we defended. And most importantly, we continue to service in another important way. To provide safe transportation for some who have no other means, and those who need a safe way home. Our independence allows us to be there for our family. So we can be present in our children and spouses' lives. To support them as they supported us. Our independence is why we served our country. It's why I drive for Lyft.
We are California rideshare and delivery drivers who support Proposition 22.
