Don’t let them take away our freedom to earn a living on our own terms

My name is Shannon and as a disabled veteran I had a very difficult time sitting behind a desk staring at a computer screen all day. I had to quit my last job because it was literally driving me crazy being stuck in a cubicle all day. I was having a very hard time finding a job that didn’t require me to be inside all day or required a degree for the same level of work I was previously doing without a degree. So, I started driving Lyft, Uber and Uber Eats. I finally found a great way to make money and give me the flexibility to be home for my wife who suffers from Lupus and Fibromyalgia. Now I worry that this new law will change all that. Therefore, I support the Protect App-Based Drivers & Services Act. It would protect our right to choose when, where and how we work. Don’t let them take away our freedom to earn a living on our own terms. Please support other drivers and service providers like yourself and vote to change the new law. Hope to see you out there!
