I drive to help cover daycare expenses for my youngest child who is 3 years old! I have 3 children and California is ridiculously expensive! Flexibility is the most important thing for me due to my full-time job with a school district in Sacramento! I started driving Lyft 3 years ago before my son turned 3 months old and thin his mom had to go back to work! There would be no possible way to feed my family if I didn't work Lyft with how expensive daycare costs in California are! I have a full-time job with a school district in Sacramento! I love what I do but haven't seen a cost of living raise in over 15 years! I have 3 children and without the flexibility of Lyft, I would not be able to provide a decent life for my family! If Lyft doesn't stay as 1099 private contractor style of work I'm not sure we would survive and be ok! Thank you Lyft for being here for me to allow me to work and help my family survive and thrive!
