Let's keep our flexibility and our ability to be independent
Hi my name is Rey. The reason I started doing Uber was a need for flexibility. I used to be a Supervisor at the local Post Office. One day while getting ready for work, my mother said she couldn't feel her jaw and needed to go to the hospital. Six years later, after heart surgery and a major stroke, we take care of her 24 hours a day. I resigned from the Post Office and decided to do Uber/Lyft. I can work or not work whenever necessary and can be at home when needed. Without the flexibility of being entirely independent, it may or may not work for my particular situation. Vote for Prop 22, let's keep our flexibility and our ability to be independent!
