I wouldn't be able to have time or the financial ability to support my children
I was a stay at home mom with 3 small kids and a verbally abusive husband who hid in his video games. When I finally decided to leave him, I didn't know what I would do for work. I hadn't had a job in 10 years and my anxiety was through the roof. All I knew was how to be a mom/wife. I had no other skills. Thanks to app-based services, I was able to get back out into the world, make an income, and support myself and my children. One day I was doing a delivery job that had somehow gone terribly wrong. The customer, who owned his own business for over 20 years, was so understanding and grateful that I was able to take the time to handle the situation. After everything was cleared up, he was so impressed that he offered me a job to be his assistant. I now work for his company part-time and as an app-based delivery driver. If it wasn't for the flexibility of this type of work I wouldn't be able to have time or the financial ability to support my children and still get to be the kind of mom they need me to be.
