I enjoy bringing food to those that can't leave their homes
I am a 61 year old grandmother and I rely on my income from Lyft and Instacart to cover our expenses. I started driving for Lyft to understand how it works so that I could educate my 89 year old mother on how to use it. Without Lyft, she would not be able to get out and about at all. Public transportation is just too dangerous for a woman her age. I found that I enjoyed Lyft very much because of the wonderful people I constantly am meeting and quickly did it full-time. And Instacart has sustained us through the COVID crisis. I enjoy bringing food to those that can't leave their homes either because they are at a greater risk or because they have small children. Both services are invaluable to the people that utilize them.
