I am on SSDI disability. I need the money I earn from Uber to get by...I like being able to work when I want. Sometimes I don't feel well to drive so I don't. I need to be an independent driver so I can work when I feel good. If I can't make this money, I will be in trouble paying my bills. The riders I have thank me all the time for being out there for them. I feel if Uber or Lyft drivers are not out there then more people might drive while being impaired. That could cause people to get hurt. I cannot work full shifts so we need our independence.
