The freedom I need to take care of my family

I am a mother of 4 biological children and I help raise my boyfriend's twin daughters. So we are a large family of 8. My boyfriend has been disabled for about 3 years and unable to work due to his disability. Because of his limited abilities, I have not been able to keep a regular paying job. Money was getting tight and we are still fighting for his disability insurance. Being able to work as an independent contractor with DoorDash and Postmates has allowed me to work a schedule that fits my boyfriend's limitations as well as my family's needs. I can work for 1 or 2 hours at a time if I need to based on my boyfriend's limits that day. It allows me to make decent money to provide for my family and have flexibility without the stress of losing my job if I need to go home to my family. This platform has given me the freedom I need to take care of my family financially as well as physically with valuable flexibility.
